Second completed vexel; I think I'm getting better.

I'm pretty happy with the ruffles and the right half of her face. She had a bunch of hair and knitted hatlike stuff that I recognized I probably couldn't do well. I covered it with black instead.

I did it from a fashion picture I "borrowed" from the art room.

About... 10? 12? 15? hours.

Critique'd be much appreciated; still pretty new to this art form.

this is the coolest style I've even come across! I like how the cellshading still makes this piece really soft...and it has a really nice flow to it as well!

i just think the left side's shadows are slightly off
but in the small view i thought it was a photogrraph o-o

Hawt damn I really love the detail in the head piece and ruffles! I have a tip though, for the left side of the face, I would definitely make it a darker shade. The dark gray kind of makes the vexel looks like it's having weird contrast issues. But then again it could just be my monitor? It is freakishly bright O_O

Anyway, congrats on the DD. It's truly deserving :)

the almost lineart drawing of the reflles makes a very interesting contrast with the quite photographic rendering of face, so it's neither hyperrrealism nor line art, I think it makes a "plus" :)
(don't mind my awful english, it's late, and it's never have been my native our even favourite language, I hope the comment help anyway :D)

Mhh such fine art gives motivation to practice vexel !
